All Abilities Inclusion Ministry
The article linked below will help you understand some of the reasons we created our AAIM ministry
What is All Abilities Inclusion Ministries?
All Abilities Inclusion Ministry is our church wide effort to insure that persons of all abilities are fully integrated into the life and work of Everybody's Church. Our inclusive Sunday school program for students of all abilities ranges from pre-school through young adult years. The curriculum includes an intentionally structured program with a multi-sensory approach to teaching Bible stories. Curriculum is individualized based on parent input and staff recommendations. Our Inclusion Coordinators train and supervise volunteers who support students as needed. If you would be interested in learning more about this ministry, please contact our Director of Christian Education & All Abilities Inclusion Ministries.

FAR Conservatory of Therapeutic and Performing Arts
FAR Conservatory of Therapeutic and Performing Arts is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing a space for folks with special needs to enrich their lives. Founded in 1951, we work with clients of all ages, introducing them to new activities and experiences, helping them gain a deeper understanding of themselves and showing them new ways to communicate how they feel.
Through the dedication of our highly-trained staff and the support of partners and collaborating organizations throughout Metro Detroit, we offer music, art, dance/movement and recreational therapy for children and adults with a variety of special needs diagnoses. We go into schools in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties to provide music, art, dance/movement and recreational therapy for students receiving special education services. We work to expose our clients to new avenues of expression which serve to improve how they relate and interact with their environments and families. First Presbyterian Church is extremely proud to house FAR's offices (Room 201) and many of its sessions in our building and work closely with this wonderful organization.
